Primary Purpose and Function

Syft is a leading provider of Supply Chain Automation and Analytics solutions to US hospitals. Syft has 85 employees based in the Tampa, FL office and a similar number of technical employees in its Hyderabad, India office.

Under the management of the Inventory Operations, the Inventory Operations Administrator will provide a wide variety of both complex and routine deliverables across the organization as well as internally within the department. This role will require the ability to work on several projects at one time in various areas of Inventory Operations. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization. The Inventory Operations Administrator must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the business needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Supports the vision, mission, and guiding principles of the company
  • Assists the Inventory Services Department with ongoing projects and various duties
  • Assists in Inventory Operations management and administration
  • Assists Accounting Team with various duties and reporting
  • Recording and Reconciliation of Inventory Operations Travel Payroll and Expense
  • Review, organization and calculation of inventory project hours and per diem
  • Provide Operational Reports utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
  • Assist in creating procedural documentation for Inventory Services
  • General support of the Inventory Services Business by working with the VP Inventory Services and Director, Inventory Operations
  • Provide creative input for process improvement and documentation

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • At least three to five years of operations support experience
  • Strong communication skills; written and oral
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Personal effectiveness/credibility
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to make decisions that fall within job requirements
  • Background and knowledge of payroll hours processing
  • Ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations to management
  • Demonstrated success in detailed work requiring accuracy, high level of productivity, organization, and sense of urgency
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced/Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Includes Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Provide support and backup for various positions including but not limited to scheduling, travel coordination and advanced reporting
  • Coordinating group meetings and activities
  • Assist with coordination of job fairs, recruiting events and position inquiry responses
  • Supports Director, Inventory Operations with new employee onboarding and training
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Syft management

Physical Demands

  • Position will work out of the Syft Tampa, Florida office
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Little or no travel is expected with this position
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Company Policy/Procedure Compliance

The Inventory Operations Administrator will be obligated to comply with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to any Customer Business Associate Agreements that the company may enter into, in addition to complying with other Human Resources requirements. In discharging the duties of this position, Inventory Operations Administrator may come into contact with confidential patient identifiable electronic health information and will be obligated to maintain the confidentiality of this information and report any breach immediately to the proper hospital authorities.

The Inventory Operations Administrator has a direct responsibility to ensure the safety of Syft’s brand portfolio. The Inventory Operations Administrator will maintain the highest ethical standards possible in building and protecting brand equity.
